Apologetics Seminar
After the success of our last two Apologetics Workshops, we will return to LBC in the Fall of 2026. BBI Board Chair Jason Thompson will teach an Apologetics Seminar focused on understanding and defending the core beliefs of the Christian faith in partnership with the Latvian Bible Center. This seminar offers thoughtful teaching for all backgrounds.
Jason is a pastor and author who is passionate about teaching God’s Word and speaking truth to lies . He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Renovation Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina, in the United States. In addition to teaching apologetics through classes and podcasts and creating discipleship curriculum, he is the author of Worth No Less, a Christian Living book on rejecting the lies of the devil and embracing our value in Christ. Jason also serves as BBI’s Chairman of the Board.
Organizer
For more than three decades, God has used BBI to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to one of the least evangelized regions of the world. Through partnerships, training, and life-on-life ministry, we work to overcome physical, emotional, and spiritual oppression in Latvia and other former Soviet states.
Venue
In June 2011 the Latvian Biblical Centre Foundation (LBC) was established, striving to reach a new level of biblical training. That year also proved to be very important in the life of LBC. The Lord spoke to the hearts of the LBC leadership and pointed to a building near the Salvation Temple Church on Kraslavas Street in Riga. After some research, they realized this building was home to William Fetler’s Bible and Missionary school from 1924 to 1935. And having received a vision from the Lord regarding this building and, in faith, began the process of renovating the building in 2013.
