“Otra Elpa” Orphan Camp
“Otra Elpa” Orphan Camp
Otra Elpa is Latvia for “Second Breath.” During this special camp, children from orphanages and foster homes across Latvia will gather at Eagle’s Wings for a week of connection, care, mentorship, fun, and discipleship. Many of our leaders have found that Otra Elpa is even more of a blessing to those who serve than those being served.
Organizer
The Christian camp site, Eagle’s Wings, is nestled between thick forests and sheep pastures, in a very quiet and spacious place near Ergli, Latvia. All summer long, however, this quiet environment is not quiet at all. It is full of the laughter, joy and the positive emotions of children and young people.

For more than three decades, God has used BBI to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to one of the least evangelized regions of the world. Through partnerships, training, and life-on-life ministry, we work to overcome physical, emotional, and spiritual oppression in Latvia and other former Soviet states.
