BALBRIGGAN, Ireland – Each day the students came to class where the first activity was worship, and then divided into 4 classes according to skill level. The students are already learning English at school but wanted to move ahead in their knowledge and speaking ability.

The younger classes used lots of games and activities to aid their learning and the older ones worked hard at improving both their knowledge and ability. The theme for the week was “Heroes” — some biblical and some modern.

The Calvin team — Marc and Carol Andresen, Skip and Laura Rung, Katie Andresen and Paula Hewitt — worked with Latvians and other Americans to make this a fun-filled and helpful event. Calvin has been involved with BBI and “hands on” partnership ministries with Latvian congregations since 1998.
